Additional geographic mentions

It would be reductive to say that Barbaresco is a great wine simply because it is the fruit of the marriage between Nebbiolo grapes and the Barbaresco region. It is important to underline how incredibly successful this marriage is in some of this region’s specific areas: as done for all the world’s greatest wines, Barbaresco vineyards have been classified into Crus, which we call additional geographic mentions.

That is how we can highlight Barbaresco wine produced in the very few areas that can be described as excellent, such as the RABAJA’: about 20 hectares of old vineyards, at 260 to 315 meters above sea level, exposed to south, south-west, which give top quality Barbaresco wine wonderfully preserving all its aromas and flavours for a very long time.
